Horizon League Network to air over 240 basketball games in 2009-10

The Horizon League Network (www.HorizonLeagueNetwork.tv) is scheduled to show 121 men's basketball games and 126 women's basketball contests during the 2009-10 regular season. All 247 live events will be available for free.

Early-season highlights include a rematch of last year's BracketBusters match-up between No. 10/11 Butler University and Davidson College on Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. ET. On the women's side, the University of Detroit Mercy will face 2009 Sweet 16 member and 10th-ranked Michigan State University on Nov. 15 at Noon ET.

The 2009-10 school year will mark the Horizon League Network's fourth year overall and the League's fifth year of showing live events via the internet.

The Horizon League Network streamed more than 400 live events in 2008-09 and will surpass its 1,500th webcast in 2009-10.
