One of Taylor Street's newest addition is a little treasure named BeviAmo. Located on the corner of Taylor and Loomis, upon entering, the world outside disappears. There aren't enough words to do justice for BeviAmo other than it has to seen firsthand. BeviAmo appeals to all of the favorite senses: it's visually intoxicating, comfortable, inviting and entertaining.
The menu is an impressive booklet of wines from all over the world, beers, champagnes and mixed drinks. They offer a cheese board which consists of five cheeses of the month with bread and fruit. Not only do they educate you on the cheeses, they also suggest the perfect wine to complement them.
Daily specials and features include: $5 Cosmos on Mondays; $3 Coronas and a live DJ on Tuesdays; all wine $5 a glass and live classical piano music on Wednesdays; $3 Amstels, $10 Sangria pitchers and a live DJ on Thursdays; live piano and singing on Fridays; and live piano on Saturday. Beviamo is open seven days a week at the following times: Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m., and Sunday 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
