Halloween was originally derived from an old Celtic holiday called "Samhain," which brought about tribal feasts for nine days in honor of their ancestors. Samhain celebrated the passing of night and day, death, and kinship. However, we've managed to turn a morbid sounding festival into the greatest national sugar high ever.
