At 1840 hours police arrested a man for driving under the influence after he struck a fence surrounding UIC Parking Lot 6 (1100 S. Union).

At 2000 hours police arrested a man for retail theft. The offense occurred on 02 January 2007 at the Foot Locker store (1240 S. Halsted).At 2205 hours police arrested a man for theft. The offense occurred at 1363 S. Halsted.

At 2000 hours police arrested two men for criminal trespass to the Behavioral Sciences Building (1007 W. Harrison). One of the offenders was additionally charged with failure to register as a sex offender.
CRIME STOPPER TIP OF THE WEEK:
Try to park in UIC Parking Structures. Thieves are deterred by the abundance of lighting and emergency alarms.
