The politics of spring break

The politics of spring break
So, you're at the point in your college career when the whole alcohol-infused "Spring Break in Cancun" has grown old and tired - the underage binge drinking, the waking up on the beach not knowing where you are, etc. You get the picture. You return to school feeling worse than when you left, not rested or relaxed at all.

What are your plans for Spring Break?

Point/Counterpoint: Should you have a stereotypical Spring Break?
We're in school. We're cold. Pretty soon, we're going to be worn out. But never fear! Spring Break is just (a block and half) around the corner! Yes, yes, I know. Two whole months of hard work and no play - or, at least not enough play for my liking. But Spring Break will keep me warm through the long, bitter-cold month of February.

In defense of a selfish Spring Break

Point/Counterpoint:: Should you have a stereotypical Spring Break?
I have to preface this argument with two disclaimers. The first is that I have never gone to an exotic locale for Spring Break, but I imagine that it must be nice. I've been to Miami once - for my grandfather's funeral. The second disclaimer is that I really do think that volunteer work is great.
