Fountains are relatively easy subjects to shoot and can also give you drastically different results depending on the way you take the photo. This shot was taken with a quick shutter to freeze the drops of water in flight - and with the sun just behind the fountain, it created a silhouette and illuminated the streams. This shot could have been taken with a slow shutter shooting away from the sun to get a very soft velvety texture to the streams of water. This particular fountain can be found at Old Orchard mall in Skokie.
